This site is published by the Régine and Jean Bernard LEKPA Foundation, the controller of the data collected on this site.

Data processed and purposes

• Contact messages: your name, your e-mail address and the content of your message, to reply to your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
• Donations: payment is made on PayPal, which is the controller for payment data. The foundation may receive from PayPal the information needed to confirm the donation, thank the donor and keep its accounts. Legal basis: legitimate interest and accounting obligations.
• Photographs, videos and testimonials: published with the consent of the people concerned, or that of the holders of parental authority for minors. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
• Display preferences (theme and language): stored only in your browser, never transmitted. No consent is required: they are used to provide the display you chose.
• Server technical logs: date, page viewed and shortened IP address, to ensure the security and proper operation of the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or audience-measurement tools. It therefore has no cookie consent banner.

Third-party services (Google Maps maps, YouTube videos) only load after you click: that is then your consent. Donations are paid on PayPal’s website, to which you are redirected.

Recipients

Your data is neither sold nor passed on. It is accessible to the foundation volunteers in charge of replying to requests and, depending on the case, to PayPal (donations), Google (maps displayed after your click) and the site’s host.

Transfers outside the European Union

As the foundation is headquartered in Dschang (Cameroon), the information you send it (for example by e-mail) may be accessed and processed in Cameroon, outside the European Union. PayPal and Google may also process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by their own privacy policies.

Retention periods

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, then we delete or archive it. Accounting records relating to donations are kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, write to contact@lekpa.fr: we will reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of your country.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and protected by security headers. Access to data is limited to the people who need it.

Photographs and image rights

If you appear in a photograph published on this site and would like it removed, write to us: we will remove it promptly.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the texts, photographs and logo on this site are protected. Any reproduction requires the foundation’s prior agreement.
